I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Milano-Bicocca (2022), a MSc in Macro Policy and Financial Markets from the Barcelona GSE and a MSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Alicante. I am passionate about generating research ideas and using empirical macro to produce policy-oriented research.

Recently, I have been working as a Senior Economist at the National Bank of Slovakia, after having previously worked at the European Central Bank, CaixaBank Research, and visited the Central Bank of Hungary. Before the “PhD track”, I also worked at KPMG as Senior Auditor auditing banks, in the Strategy team of CaixaBank Research, at BBVA Corporate Banking, the Barcelona Stock Exchange (BME), the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia, Spain), and at the NGO VIS Albania.

Originally from Spain, I studied in Barcelona, Alicante, and Milan, and worked in Spain, Andorra, Germany, Hungary, Albania, and Slovakia and I am now based in Bratislava.
